Dhal puri is one of the most famous street food in Mauritius, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
Served with chutney, curry or sometimes kheer, dhal puri, also known as dholl pouri are sold almost in every city and village in Mauritius.

This is my personal recipe and is not the exact same as sold or (dhalpuri marchand).I was expecting it to puff up while cooking, but it didn’t.If you have any tips, please let me know.

Ingredients are chana dhal, flour salt and oil, tumeric powder and cumin seeds.
